'Red Table Talk' exclusive: Matthew McConaughey's mom recalls how husband died during sex
Matthew McConaughey's mother is getting candid about the death of her husband and the actor's father, James Donald McConaughey.
In a clip from Tuesday's episode of "Red Table Talk," shared exclusively with USA TODAY, McConaughey's mom, Mary Kathlene McCabe, joins the actor to describe the intimate circumstances of her husband's death.
"My husband died making love to me," she says.
"And I remember saying, when he fell back, I said, 'What's the matter big boy? I wear you out?' No response, no response, and I'm thinking, 'Oh my God, something's wrong.'"
McCabe says she then ran across the street to get help from a neighbor.
"And I said, 'Something's wrong.

Something's wrong. I don't know what it is.'" she continues. "I had no idea that it was too much."
