Ramakrishnan and Chandra Ramakrishnan. Nalini's brother Mohan is an Indian Revenue Service officer. Her husband Desmond Netto is a retired IPS officer in Kerala. Her cousin Girija Vaidyanathan was Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu^[4]
